What is USD Coin (USDC)?
USDC is a regulated US-Dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Circle. Each token is backed 1:1 by cash and short-duration US Treasuries held with regulated US financial institutions, with monthly attestation reports published by independent accountants. At XBTFX, USDC is one of the cleanest ways to move dollar-denominated value into your XBTFX balance — no banks, no SWIFT, no waiting.
Supported USDC Networks
Pick the network that's cheapest and fastest from your sending wallet. XBTFX charges zero deposit and withdrawal fees on USDC — you pay only the underlying blockchain fee. Note: XBTFX does not support USDC on Tron.
| Network | Standard | Typical Confirm | XBTFX Fee | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| USDC on Ethereum The original USDC issuance. Highest security, highest network fees. | ERC-20 | ~1–3 min | Free | Deposit |
| USDC on Base Coinbase's L2. Native USDC issuance — usually the cheapest and fastest option for USDC. | L2 | ~5 sec | Free | Deposit |
| USDC on Arbitrum Ethereum L2. Native USDC, cheap fees, Ethereum-grade security. | L2 | ~30 sec | Free | Deposit |
| USDC on Polygon EVM-compatible. Native USDC issuance on Polygon PoS. | POS | ~30 sec | Free | Deposit |
| USDC on Solana Native USDC on Solana. Very fast and almost-free transfers. | SPL | ~10 sec | Free | Deposit |
| USDC on BNB Smart Chain Bridged USDC on BSC. Low fees, broadly supported by exchanges. | BEP-20 | ~30 sec | Free | Deposit |
| Each USDC network uses a different on-chain contract. Always confirm the network in your sending wallet matches the deposit address shown in the XBTFX portal — sending USDC on the wrong network can result in permanent loss of funds. XBTFX charges zero deposit and withdrawal fees on USDC; only the underlying blockchain network fee applies. USDC on Tron is not supported by XBTFX. | ||||

Questions
USDC Deposit Questions
Common questions about depositing USD Coin (USDC) and funding a trading account at XBTFX.
-
Can I deposit USDC and trade forex on XBTFX?
Yes. XBTFX accepts USDC deposits on six networks — Ethereum (ERC-20), Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Solana, and BNB Smart Chain — and lets you trade forex, metals, indices, energies, share CFDs, and crypto CFDs. USDC deposits are credited to your XBTFX account, where you can transfer to any MT5, cTrader, or xPro trading account.
-
Which USDC networks does XBTFX support?
We support six USDC networks: Ethereum (ERC-20), Base (L2), Arbitrum (L2), Polygon (POS), Solana (SPL), and BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). XBTFX does not support USDC on Tron. The deposit address you generate in the client portal is network-specific — always confirm the network in your sending wallet matches the one shown in the portal before broadcasting.
-
Is there a fee to deposit USDC to my XBTFX account?
XBTFX charges zero deposit fees on every USDC network. You only pay the underlying blockchain network fee, which is typically a fraction of a cent on Base, Solana, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BSC. Ethereum mainnet (ERC-20) is the most expensive option.
-
Why USDC over USDT?
USDC is issued by Circle, a US-based regulated payments company. Circle publishes monthly attestation reports on the cash and short-duration treasuries backing USDC, and the reserves are held with regulated US financial institutions. Traders that prioritise reserve transparency and US regulatory disclosure often prefer USDC. USDT, by contrast, has the largest stablecoin liquidity. Both work the same way for deposits and withdrawals at XBTFX.
-
How fast are USDC deposits credited?
USDC deposits are auto-credited as soon as the transaction reaches the required confirmations. Base, Solana, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BSC are usually credited within seconds to a minute. Ethereum (ERC-20) typically takes 1–3 minutes after the tx is mined.
-
Can I run a USDC-denominated trading account?
Not directly — USDC is a deposit and withdrawal asset on XBTFX, not a trading-account base currency. After your USDC deposit lands in your XBTFX balance, you can fund a USD or USDT base trading account from it. Use the XBTFX exchange feature inside the client area to convert USDC to USD or USDT at fair market rates.
-
Does XBTFX charge for USDC withdrawals?
XBTFX does not charge a withdrawal fee on USDC. You only pay the underlying blockchain network fee. Withdrawal requests are processed within 24 hours on business days. Choose Base, Solana, Arbitrum, or Polygon if you want to minimise the network fee.
-
Is USDC the same on every network?
Economically yes — 1 USDC is always pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar regardless of chain. But the token contracts are different on each network and they are not interchangeable on-chain. If you send USDC on Base to an Arbitrum address (or any other mismatch), the funds can be lost. Always match the network on both sides of the transfer.
Important Information
- XBTFX does not support USDC on the Tron network. Sending USDC-TRC20 to any XBTFX deposit address will result in permanent loss of funds.
- Each USDC network is a distinct on-chain asset. Always match the network in your sending wallet to the address generated in the XBTFX client portal.
- XBTFX charges zero deposit and withdrawal fees on USDC. Standard blockchain network fees apply on all chains.
- Withdrawal requests are processed within 24 hours on business days.
- USDC is a deposit / withdrawal asset at XBTFX, not a trading account base currency. Use the in-wallet exchange to convert to USD or USDT before funding a trading account.
- USDC is issued by Circle Internet Financial. XBTFX has no affiliation with Circle and provides USDC solely as a deposit and withdrawal option.
