AWS

Retail
Amazon's online store, seller fees and Prime subscriptions make up most of its revenue. Consumer spending and the cost of delivering parcels decide how much of that becomes profit.
Advertising
Brands pay to appear in Amazon's search results and on Prime Video. Advertising is a large business in its own right, and one that doesn't carry the cost of shipping goods.
Trade policy
Much of what's sold on Amazon, by Amazon itself and by third-party sellers, is made abroad, a large share of it in China. Tariffs can raise costs and prices, feeding into both sales and margins.
AMZN trades at XBTFX during the Nasdaq's regular session, 9:30 to 16:00 New York time. Volume is usually heaviest around the opening and closing auctions. Amazon reports after the close, with a forecast for the next quarter's sales and operating income, and since the CFD doesn't trade after hours, the reaction shows up as a gap at the next open.

Variable all-in spread
Pro commission on US stock CFDs is 0.3% per deal. Spreads are variable and can widen; swaps and corporate-action adjustments may apply. Standard pricing includes the equivalent cost in its spread.
Exposure-based margin
AMZN margin is applied incrementally by total notional exposure in the symbol. Crossing a threshold does not reprice lower-band exposure; only the additional amount uses the next published rate.
How exposure-based margin works| Additional notional | Leverage | Margin |
|---|---|---|
| $0–$100K | 10:1 | 10.00% |
| $100K–$500K | 5:1 | 20.00% |
| $500K–∞ | 4:1 | 25.00% |
USD notional bands per symbol. Published margin may exceed 100% on selected instruments; the live platform specification is authoritative.
